Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, Low Bone Density – What is the Newest in Bone Care
March 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDTFree
Join Naturopath, Lauren Young, ND and Rheumatologist Barbara Kage, MD for a discussion on the importance of bone density. Bone density is vitally important as we age because less-dense bones are more likely to break and can put you at risk for osteopenia and osteoporosis. Dr. Young and Dr. Kage will discuss the differences between osteopenia and osteoporosis, what the risks are and the diagnosis for each. They will also provide information on universal treatment options and natural treatment that include diet, acupuncture, homeopathy, yoga and more, as well as supplements beyond calcium that can help.
This program is being offered virtually. Pre-registration is required.
