Carbohydrates and Diabetes – Staying Healthy Longer
Did you know that taking in between 20 – 90 grams of Carbohydrates per day has been shown to be effective at improving blood sugar management? Join Doctor Momina Afrede, author of the book entitled “Noninvasive Oral Alternative to Diabetic Insulin Drug Therapies”, as she shares information about Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, the differences between both and how to manage both. She will also talk about ways to prevent diabetes, how to count carbohydrates effectively and offer some exercise recommendations. Lastly Dr. Afrede will discuss reasonable goals for A1C and what health screenings every diabetic should have done annually.
