Sweet Talk Support Group: Exercising for Diabetes

Danielle Watters, a clinical exercise physiologist at Rockville General Hospital, will discuss how exercise and physical activity can affect your diabetes. She will discuss how your blood sugar reacts to exercise immediately and over time, what the weekly exercise guidelines are when you have diabetes, and how to incorporate movement into your daily life.
This program is free and open to the public and will be presented in the ECHN’s Diabetes Wellness Center Classroom at Manchester Memorial Hospital.
No registration is required.
Sweet Talk is ECHN’s Diabetes Support Group that welcomes anyone who has diabetes and would like to make connections with others living who live with diabetes every day. The group meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 12-1 PM at ECHN’s Diabetes Wellness Center located at Manchester Memorial Hospital. We welcome new members who are looking for support.
