Cancer Education

Maintaining or restoring fitness levels is an important part of cancer recovery. Through education and guidance, ECHN’s team of licensed rehabilitation experts have specialized training to provide cancer-specific rehabilitation services that can minimize the negative long-term effects of cancer and cancer treatments.

Fit for the Journey

This program is for people living with a current or past cancer diagnosis who want to improve their fitness. Individually designed exercise programs, which may include strength/weight training, cardiovascular, balance or flexibility exercises, are available. Programs are held in a small group setting.

Assessments are by appointment only.

Lunch & Learn: Cancer Survivors and their Caregivers

Join Registered Dieticians Tracey Luciani and Bridget Sutherland as they present a plant-based diet, rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes that offer numerous health benefits. Learn how eating more fiber-rich foods can improve your overall health and survival after a cancer diagnosis. This session will include a cooking demonstration of a protein-packed plant recipe.
