The Doula and the Medicated Birth

Join Manchester Hospital Preferred Doula’s new series, Unless I’m at a Birth, for a variety of CEU and educational programs designed for the new and experienced doula.

The first session will be facilitated by Lauren Sembersky, RN, our Perinatal Education Coordinator, a labor and delivery nurse and former doula. We will explore medicalized births- medical indications for induction, induction methods, medical pain relief, and cesarean births.

This course is eligible for 1.5 CEUs through ICEA.

Cancellation Policy
We will provide a full refund to registrants who have a medical reason for canceling the class. A $10 registration fee per class will be retained for all other cancellation refunds. To receive a refund, you must notify the ECHN Perinatal Education office at 860-647-4790 no later than 48 hours prior to the first class. No refunds will be given once the class begins.
