This class helps older children understand their roles as big brothers and big sisters and gets them familiar with The Family Birthing Center. DESCRIPTION:Class runs every Monday from August 3\, 2026 to September 31\, 2026. \nThis Class covers all the essentials for preparing for the labor and birth of your baby in six weeks. \nTopics include stages of labor\, relaxation and breathing techniques\, comfort measures\, positioning for labor\, partner’s role\, analgesia\, anesthesia\, cesarean birth\, postpartum adjustment\, breastfeeding\, newborn care\, and much more. We recommend you complete classes approximately 2 – 6 weeks before your due date. Class is limited to 6 couples. \nFor your convenience\, a tour of the Family Birthing Center will be offered after one of these classes. \n*Class Fee is per couple: 1 ticket = 1 couple \nAfter registration\, you will receive an email confirmation with additional details. \nPlease call Perinatal Education 860-647-4790 or email lsembersky@echn.org if you have any questions.
