CANCELLED – October: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Four million women in the US alone are diagnosed with breast cancer; it is the most common cancer in the world and most common diagnosed in the US. When detected early, breast cancer can be a manageable disease. Internal Medicine Physician, Sana Khan Pathan and Women’s Health Nurse Navigator, Donna Cameron, will discuss the importance of early detection and the various types of breast cancer screenings available. The participant will also learn about ECHN’s Women’s Center and the various support services available for women from breast health exams to massages and acupuncture.
