DESCRIPTION:Saturday July 26 9:30 am – 3:00 pm (Lunch break from 12:00 – 12:30) \nFor expectant parents who wish that babies came with an owner’s manual\, this class covers diapering\, bathing\, crying\, safety and many other details of newborn care plus postpartum self-care and adjustment to make a smoother transition to parenthood. Hands on instruction will ease you through the first days and nights at home with your baby. \nClass fee is per couple: 1 seat = 1 couple \nNote: Within 1 week of registration\, you will receive an email confirmation with dates and times of the classes. DESCRIPTION:If you have a baby six months and younger and want to get out to spend time with other new Moms\, please join us for an informal support group on Tuesday mornings. \nRegistration is not required – this is a drop-in group. \nLocation: Manchester Hospital Family Birthing Center Education Room\n71 Haynes Street\nManchester\, CT 06040 \n*Directions to Manchester Hospital Main Entrance\, 71 Haynes Street\, Manchester\, CT 06040:\nFrom Main Street in Manchester\, turn onto Haynes Street. The Main Entrance is located on the right just past Guard Street. Free parking is located directly across the street from the main entrance or valet parking is available in the circular driveway at the front entrance. Enter the hospital through the main entrance and check in with security just inside.\nOnce you have received your visitor sticker\, turn to your right and go down that hallway until you reach the next hallway. Turn left and look for elevators on the right. Take elevator to the 1st floor (press 1). If you prefer stairs\, take the stairs up one flight. Once off elevator or out of stairway\, follow the hallway to the lobby of the Family Birthing Center (FBC).
